Micas Simulations Limited (formally Micas Services Limited) who commenced trading in 1977 supplying software for the Forging Industry and formed an alliance with QuantorForm in 1995 to market and provide first line support for their Forging Simulation Software.
With Trevor Slater as Managing Director, Micas continued to market and give support for the Forging Simulation Software as QuantorForm’s technical team improved the software progressing it from DOS version (FORM2D) in to a Windows based product. In 1999 the software was renamed QForm and has gone from “strength to strength” serving both 2D and 3D users worldwide becoming a “Best Buy” product.
Initially Micas covered UK customers but their service has grown to incorporate Europe and companies and countries in many other parts of the world.
Since the start of 2005 the Forging Simulation arm of Micas has been trading separately as Micas Simulations Limited with Trevor Slater continuing as Managing Director.
