We are pleased to announce that QForm Group will be a bronze sponsor of the 15th FORGING CONFERENCE, organized by the Forging Association of the Czech Republic, taking place on May 19–20, 2026, in Brno – Pisárky, Czech Republic.
We look forward to seeing you at our booth!
Paul Mordvintsev, Business Development Director of Formatech Systems SL (QForm Group), will present the report "Preventing forging defects in aluminium and steel forgings through iterative automated preform design" and discuss CAD QForm Direct.
This webinar presents the advanced simulation capabilities of QForm for ring rolling, wheel rolling, tube rolling, and skew rolling processes. The session focuses on the numerical simulation of material flow, stress–strain state, and thermal behavior in complex three-dimensional rolling operations.
Particular attention is given to deformation mechanics, contact conditions, roll kinematics, and the prediction of rolling load, torque, and tool stresses. Participants will learn how QForm enables accurate analysis of metal flow, dimensional evolution, wall thickness variation, and defect formation, including laps and underfilling.
SAFORM2026 will be jointly organized by the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and the National Technical University of Athens, and will take place in the historic and vibrant city of Thessaloniki, Greece, from 27 to 29 April 2026.
Each year, the ESAFORM Conference gathers around 400 leading experts from academia and industry, offering a dynamic platform to present and discuss the latest advances in theory, experimentation, simulation, and application in the field of material forming.
Dr. Nikolay Biba, Director of Micas Simulations Limited, will attend this event. Details will be announced later.
This webinar focuses on the practical use of API tools in QForm UK to automate routine engineering tasks and improve workflow efficiency.
Learning basic programming tools is easier than it may seem, and the benefits are significant, from saving engineers’ time to creating customized solutions for specific tasks. By using the QForm API, repetitive operations can be automated, reducing manual work and lowering the risk of errors.
During the session, we will show how API tools can automate model preparation, simulation setup, batch calculations, result processing, and report generation. You will see practical examples of how routine actions can be replaced with simple scripts and automated workflows.
Our now traditional user meeting will take place in April in Germany under Dr.-Ing. H.-W. Raedt's guidance. We are preparing a rich and engaging program and will organize hands-on master classes for participants. Save the dates in your calendar, the detailed agenda and event information will follow soon!
This webinar is dedicated to advanced numerical simulation of sheet metal forming processes using QForm. If you are looking for reliable and efficient tools to simulate sheet metal forming operations, this session will provide a comprehensive overview of QForm’s capabilities in this field. We will demonstrate how the Finite Element Method (FEM) has been successfully adapted and implemented in QForm UK to accurately model sheet forming technologies. Particular attention will be given to the simulation of stamping, deep drawing, bending, trimming, and other sheet forming operations. Participants will learn how QForm enables accurate prediction of material flow, thinning and thickening, strain distribution, springback, forming load, and potential defects such as wrinkling and cracking.
This webinar focuses on transforming simulation results into clear, structured, and visually compelling technical documentation within the QForm environment. Reports are essential for a proper understanding and effective communication of simulation results. It is not enough to interpret data correctly, the results should also be presented in a convenient, structured, and visually attractive format for team discussions, management presentations, and collaboration with partners or customers.

ExtrusionLink is a secure digital solution that integrates extruders and die makers into a unified, simulation-driven workflow. The session focuses on establishing an efficient and protected data exchange process that connects die design, extrusion simulation, and production optimization into a seamless digital chain. Particular attention is given to die design development, including bearing design, port geometry, welding chamber configuration, and flow balancing. The webinar also covers classical simulation of aluminum (Al) extrusion processes, enabling accurate prediction of material flow, extrusion loads, temperature evolution, weld quality, and final profile geometry.
